Structured Cabling

Structured cabling is the medium that carries and distributes all signals or data throughout your new home; this includes telephone, cable, satellite TV, and computers. Midwest Home Media and Companies are licensed by the state of Minnesota and Wisconsin as a “Technology Systems Contractor”. We “Home-Run” all phone, TV and data lines to one central location, that is to say, each location has its own dedicated cable run instead of being “daisy-chained” from one outlet to another, as in low performance installations of the past. This not only increases the quality of the signal to each location, but also makes configurations more flexible.

Central Vacuum Systems

Central vacuums eliminate the need to carry a heavy unit from room to room or up and down the stairs. There are no cords to trip over, and your power brush can be inserted right into the wall inlet locations that you choose, instead of into pre-determined electrical outlets. Central vacuum systems eliminate the re-circulation of dirty air inside your living area because the dust and debris is carried through the walls to an out-of-the-way receptacle. A central vacuum also has three to five times more power than traditional vacuums. Because the power unit is not meant to be portable, it can contain a more powerful motor than traditional vacuums.
