Midwest Home Media offers a wide arrange of services, anywhere from pre-construction wiring to the setting up of your new audio/video equipment for your home theater. Below are descriptions of the many services we provide.
Pre-Construction Planning
First we will give you a tour of our Technology Showhome® and give you an education on everything we have to offer. After taking some time to absorb all the information you receive at the first meeting, we will have a second meeting in our conference room where we will go over your floor plans room by room. There are two ways to approach the second meeting: either leave a set of plans with us at the first meeting and we will have them ready to go with our recommendations based on our discussions when you come back for your second meeting, or we can sit down with the floor plans and make selections together.
Pre-wiring
As a licensed Technology Systems Contractor our licensed power limited technicians will install all of the wiring in your home to exacting specifications before it is insulated and sheet rocked so that all wires will be out of sight to create a professional and clean look in your new home.
Just before closing
We install any device that will be permanently fixed into the home such as wall speakers, life safety devices, and central cleaning components.
After close
It is not until after close that we deliver any freestanding equipment (TV, DVD player, etc). After we are through installing and calibrating all the electronics we train you on how to operate everything we have installed from the home theater system to the life safety & security system. We know that our electronics can be intimidating and complicated, so throughout the whole process we do every thing in our power to make technologies user-friendly.
